Cop Blocks Bike Lane To Ticket Cyclists For Not... →
I am all for the NYPD crackdown against law-breaking cyclists (especially as a usually law-abiding bike commuter,) but this is a blatant attempt to pad stats on the part of the NYPD. Ray Kelly needs to put a stop to this ridiculous behavior. The police are there to protect all of us: pedestrians, bikers, and motorists.
